《墨脱公路》是一部全景式反映墨脱公路建设的大型电视纪录片，它将展现西藏地区和平解放六十多年来公路交通运输建设取得的辉煌成就，记录墨脱公路建设中几代交通公路人艰苦卓绝的奋斗历程。片中即将出现的墨脱这颗高原明珠的人文生态及世外美景令人心醉，而甘于吃苦、勇于创新、善于协作、不畏风险的新时期中国交通公路人的奉献精神更令人感动。 此番大型电视纪录片《墨脱公路》一路点滴见证，记录公路建设者们的奉献精神，弘扬他们历经几代人、坚持不懈的科技攻关攀登精神，展示新时代中国公路建设的伟大成就。 纪录片将记录中国公路建设者的浴血奋战，展现墨脱公路通车的激情场面。该片计划于年底完成拍摄，于2014年建国六十五周年、西藏地区和平解放六十三周年到来之际，在中央电视台、中国教育电视台以及部分地方电视台陆续播出。
